Shortcode in copyright textbox

It's be awesome if shortcodes were able to be used in the copyright textarea.
They're already allowed :)
Hmmm ok it didn't sem to work for me? I had a plugin that converted a php snippet into a shortcode and when i saved the copyright textarea the shortcode converted back to php again?
It turned the shortcode into PHP inside the textarea?

Any chance you can share your shortcode code with me using pastebin or something similar?
