Andrew
Hi Team GenPress, hope you’re well!
So, I know the solution is probably really simple once again, but I just can’t seem to find it, and other support topics don’t really resolve it either. What I’m looking to do is make the Shop templates Hero sections site-wide, including for the blog, as well as the footer, for instance – full-width – with no padding surrounding like they do currently. The Layout element won’t work because that focuses on content, and I want to keep the content as is – just hero sections and footers, but when I go to edit them in elements and click the full-width toggle, it doesn’t work. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi Leo, thanks. It’s actually on all the GenPress Shop template pages, including blog. The hero or heading section and the footer has some padding around it, and I can’t make it full-width site-wide. I sent a link.
Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportRemove this CSS added in the Additional CSS field in the customizer:
body { padding: 30px; }
It’s the default style added by the template designer.

Ok, thanks! That worked. I knew it’d be something simple but I didn’t think to look there. Easy.
Also: a number of months ago I put in a request to possibly be able to add page templates from your template/site library without having to import the whole site and all demo content + customizer settings. Any progress on that? Do you want to add Tom to this thread? I think it’d be IMMENSELY helpful and cool for us designers, because we like to mix and match templates and styles depending on page and content, but now it’s really a fuss to do that. And I know you’ve got the block template library too etc. etc., which I use, but I’d love to be able to throw any page template from ANY of your site library or blog post templates onto any site I want without the hassle.
Thanks Leo – or tell me a better forum or place to voice this request to Tom if there is one.
Cheers!

StaffCustomer SupportThat’s a very complicated request and we have not decided to add this capability unfortunately.
Each template is attached to its own customizer settings, elements etc so simply importing specific pages without the other associated settings and elements wouldn’t work very well.

ok, I see. Well, something to consider in future.
Thanks again for your help Leo!
I’ll resolve this topic now. Have a great day!!
