Hi GeneratePress team!
I have a question about how to share the head with Elements.

Is it possible to use the same header for the parent page and the child pages without having to assign them one by one in the dislay rulles tab?

Thanks a lot:)

Hi there,

What do you mean by parent and child pages? Like in the menu system?

If so unfortuantely that's not possible.

You can assign them to a specific category then use it in Display Rule though.

Let me know if this helps :)

Thanks for the reply!

On my site I have created pages linked to a parent page.

Page1
Page1 -> page2
Page1 -> page3
Page4
Page4 -> page5
Page4 -> page6
etc...

It is possible to set the header image for these pages indicating only the parent page and not all the sub pages.

example:

HeaderA for Page1
HeaderA for Page1 -> page2
HeaderA for Page1 -> page3
HeaderB for Page4
HeaderB for Page4 -> page5
HeaderB for Page4 -> page6

In this way, if I create another child page, I do not have to worry about adding it to the header image locations.

Unfortunately as I explained above, it's not possible to set header element based on your menu system.

You'd have to assign specific categories to each page then the Display Rule can be used.

Let me know if this helps :)
