Viewing posts 1–9 of 9

Hello. My homepage shows my latest posts. I want to show 5 posts per blog page and the next button or number. I have set the number under settings then reading to 5 posts. But it doesn't reflect on the frontend. Currently, it shows 7 posts. How can I change this?

Hi, I've got the same problem - in the reading settings I have Blog pages show at most
9 posts and Syndication feeds show the most recent 9 posts - and on the homepage it is showing 12 posts

I tried deactivating plugins and that did not work.

There was issue with a plugin in the end, W3 total cache seemed to prevent me from changing the number of posts.

The homepage still shows 3 more posts than I have it set to for some reason.

Glad to hear you got that resolved Dan

Hi David, not resolved, I'm able to change the number of posts now I have disabled the plugin but the wrong number of posts still displays on the homepage, even after plugins disabled.

hmmm... have you flushed server / browser caches?

I'll try that, thanks

Still no luck, I tried flushing the browser cache and looking at the site via proxy sites and the problem is still there - extra posts on the homepage

So the problem is still there with only GP premium as the activated plugin?

What happens if you de-activate GP premium as well?

If this still doesn't work, can you activate a twenty-series WordPress theme and see if the problem is still there?

This should help us pinpoint the issue.

Thanks!
