set fixed page height
7 replies · Started by Mark on May 4, 2019
I'm building a site for non-techies that don't know about scrolling :)
Is there a way to set a fixed height for every page (that might include a page header and picture on the front page, and a footer) so that the user sees all of the page content without having to scroll?
Thanks,
Mark
Hi there,
Good question! Do you have any examples of this I can check out?
Hi Tom,
Sure, the "homepage" on my existing site is an example (needs other work too). I would like the user to be able to look at the whole page (including the header and footer) without having to scroll. I don't mind if the front page image is shorter than it is now.

Tom,
My homepage (Mag) is getting closer to fitting on one page. I removed the text at the bottom and padding.
I have also included a logo at the top, but for some reason I no longer see the slider to adjust the logo width in the customizer. Can you tell me why I no longer see it?

I must have screwed something up, because I am also no longer to right align (or center) the primary menu :(

This is because you've set your navigation as your header in Customize > Layout > Header.
If you un-check that option, you'll see those options appear again.
Thanks!
Mark
You're welcome :)
