    Hi there,

I’m currently working on a site that has significant SEO work and analysis. We’ve run a couple audits and as it turns out, we’re missing the title tags for the page headers. I understand it’s a background image within CSS but I was wondering if there was a way to set the title tag in the outside wrapper of each individual page header. See the audit here: https://jumpshare.com/v/eKWSTeHUZoa6bJ6AcZ19 . I’m not sure how best to fix this but if anyone has experience with it please let me know what can be done!

    Thanks as always!
(using GeneratePress 1.7.2 and the old Page Headers, not the Elements)

    Hi there,

I don’t believe it’s possible (or useful) to have title tags for background images. Not sure why that audit tool is flagging those files.

Background images are a part of the design – not the content. Title tags are useful for elements that represent content (inline images etc..).

That’s what I thought too, so I’m not sure why they’re even being shown as a problem! I’ll explain that to our SEO specialist. Thanks so much as always, Tom!
