Semicolon and white space above header

I have a white space with a semicolon showing up above my header on all my pages/posts and I have no idea what I've done to make it show up. Any tips to get it out of there???

What do you mean by custom? I'm using elements for things like some page heroes, my sidebar, footer etc but nothing particularly complicated or custom.
My host did put my Google Analytics code in the theme file instead of an element where I had it at some point, that was something not done by me and above my head..

My host did put my Google Analytics code in the theme file instead of an element where I had it at some point, that was something not done by me and above my head..
This may be it or something along with this. We don't recommend editing of any theme files.
There's likely a code or HTML delimiter issue here as some codes that are supposed to appear on <head> are appearing inside the <body>.
