Tom

If I sell a site that is developed using GP and your premium adds ons, what is required?

Can I just pass the details of the key on to the incoming buyer?

Hi Max,

You can sell your site, but you can't sell your license key/account - if they want access to the forums for support etc.. they'll want to purchase their own license key.

What if I lose control of a site on which I have used my GP license key, how do I stop it from using my license?
I can deactivate the site from the GP Manage License page but since it got my key the admin can just click the button in wp-admin to add it again. Or am I missing something?
Wouldn't it make sense that I have to approve newly added sites on the Manage License page?

It's not something I need to do at this moment, I'm just curious.

If you lose control of a license key (somehow?), you can contact me and I'll issue you a new one :)

Thank you for your amazingly quick reply. I'll do that if the situation arise.

No problem :)

Hi Tom, I just want to get clarification on this. If I sell a GeneratePress website that was built using the Premium Add-ons, will the client need to purchase the Premium Add-ons in order for their site to function, or can I just pass the site on and it will function without the add-ons?

Thank you.

The site will continue to work. However we would encourage you to include the cost of a copy of the license to the package so that if one day you no longer works with them, they will still get updates and supports from us :)

Let me know if this makes sense :)

OK. Thank you.

No problem!
