[Resolved] Seeking suggestions on using Generatepress with directory based website

Hi everyone!

I’ve just recently purchased Generatepress premium. I’m going to be taking over an old school html based directory website (www.oztorah.org) and using Generatepress as my theme.

While there are endless user management plugins available, I’m at a loss at what might be an appropriate choice.

I’m hoping to allow users to create and edit their own profile, and also allow users to search the directory to see who the nearest member(s) are.

I also want to hide contact details to member profiles to anyone not registered on the site.

As there are numerous directory entries already, I’m unsure whether I’ll need to manually add each member and assign a temporary password to them? If that’s the case, then I’m hoping there is an option for the user to set their own password after logging in for the first time.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!

There are quite a few membership plugins but a lot are premium, whereas the above has a lot of function in the free version.
