Sections Settings color picker missing color value

Hi,
I'm using wp 5.1.1 and GP Premium 1.7.8. Small issue here . :)
The color picker on the Sections Settings page is no longer showing an input box to paste in a color code, such as #cccccc, or display the current color code value. There are only sliders.
The access is Pages - mypage - Edit - mysection - Settings - Background Color - a box with color and opacity sliders are on the right, but no input.
This is the first maintenance to the site I've done since setting up a child theme. I also notice the top menu spacing seems to be a bit different.
I've tried it with the complete Generate Press theme rather than the child theme with the same results.
Using Chrome Version 73.0.3683.86 with High Sierra.
Any ideas?

That's strange, I can't reproduce this on my end.
What happens if you deactivate all of your other plugins? Same issue?

That did it! A recent new plugin was the culprit. This issue is resolved.
Thanks for the tip! I need a post-it note to "check plugins first". :)
