Sections in page are not visible/editable

In WordPress when I want to edit my startpage the sections are not visible and I am not able to edit anything. If I try to click on buttons in the Yoast SEO tab or the layout tab nothing happens.
This bug just happens on this page. Other pages are not concerned.
I renewed my license for this and updated the GP plugin. But it's still not working...

Is this front page the blog page?
I added text sections to the site/page. But now they are not visible. In this part it is just nothing visible.
The front page ist not a blog page. Its a site page (sorry, my WordPress is in german :( )
Can you try #1 here to eliminate any plugin conflicts first?

Hmm so does the same thing happen if you activate twenty-series WordPress theme as well?
Tested it with Twenty Sixteen. Same thing happen.
That means it's not a GeneratePress problem.
You will need to report this to their support.
In the meantime you will just have to disable it in order to use GP.
