Sections: can't disable default Visual Editor

Hi, I hate the visual editor mode in WP since it messes stuff up. So, I have it disabled in my account settings. On pages where I DON'T use 'Sections', it's fine and the visual editor does not show. However, on pages where I do use 'Sections', my account setting is ignored and sections always default to opening in the visual editor. This is a root cause for recurring design issues and costs me too much time. I really need a solid fix for this. Please provide a hook/filter or whatever code to disable the visual editor in sections. I need it a.s.a.p. I am NOT using Gutenborg, I have the 'classical editor' plugin installed.
