[Resolved] Section the visual editor doesn’t work

using section I noted that if I use some code (just cut and copy) the visual editor show icons of text version.
It’s a bug?

What if you copy the HTML into the text editor first then click visual editor?

Make sure to highlight the code and click code in the editor.

Not quite sure if I understand.

So when you click the visual editor, nothing changes? The <h1> should definitely change.

Yes I can see only menu of text that is as the menu of this forum. The visual editor is not visible

Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing in the visual editor?

When in the visual editor, right-click and open browser inspect tool, go to the console tab, are there any errors there?

So what happens if you click the “Visual” tab in your screenshot?

What browser are you using?

I use Firefox. When I change tab the menu remain the same as text mode

I believe we have this fixed in 1.9, which we’re taking into alpha tomorrow.

Does the issue go away in Chrome?

We’ll be releasing 1.9-alpha.1 tomorrow, so hopefully, it fixes it. If not, let me know and I’ll debug further 🙂
