[Support request] \'section\' that I want to use on my blog page but it wont show up

I want to have a bar that goes across my screen that is a different color than my default background so I was guided to use ‘sections’ to make it.

When I try to implement that section at the top of my blog page where my posts go…it doesnt show up 😐

I dont know why? help?
I also want that section to be present on my individal post pages but haven’t gotten to that yet.

you can’t use Sections on the blog, as its not a normal page.
This content will be the same content on the Blog and the Posts? And where would it be positioned?

On my home screen I want it under my hero image, and on the other pages I wanted it at the bottom of the header.

You can use the Hook Element to add content across your site:
