Search widget will not return excerpts when all content is in Grid blocks

Hi Guys,

I've run into a local search quirk that I was hoping you could help with.

The WordPress search widget will return no excerpts if all content on a page is contained within one or more GenerateBlocks Grid blocks. It will return the entry title, but no entry content.

The Customizer Layout Blog settings are configured correctly. Currently using only two active plugins: GenerateBlocks and GP Premium.

Note: On a different site I manage, pages with the Genesis Blocks Advanced Columns block exhibit the same behavior. (I've not yet received a response to a support request submitted on June 14.)

Any ideas on how to fix?
