So when I Use generatepress built-in search bar and When I search using a keyword it just shows all the posts this website has, not the post using that keyword…is there any solution?April 1, 2022 at 10:16 am #2174884YingStaffCustomer Support
Any chance you can link us to the site in question?
You can use the private information field.
And could you disable all other plugins except GP premium?
If you are using a child theme, please switch to the parent theme.
Let me know 🙂April 2, 2022 at 6:18 am #2175493iamarghya
I am using the GP premium parent theme. I don’t have a search box now but you can find a search box on the 404 page.April 2, 2022 at 6:30 am #2175499DavidStaffCustomer SupportApril 2, 2022 at 9:25 am #2175785iamarghya

And another question I really wanna use wp show post to show post but it has been not updated since so is it ok to use that plugin or to wait since the merge with generateblocks any update on that?April 2, 2022 at 9:50 am #2175798DavidStaffCustomer Support
the WP Search function is really rather basic – its going to find any string in the title or content of the post.
Theres quite a few search plugins that allow you to change what the query looks for – this article covers some of the more common plugins:
WP Show Posts is fine to use today.
GenerateBlocks update – we hope to go to Alpha in the next week – but i reckon the stable release will take several weeks, as it will require a lot of alpha/beta testingApril 2, 2022 at 11:36 am #2175898iamarghya

Oh, thanks I don’t wanna create another topic for this question, As I don’t have any community to ask, I am asking you guys so for creating a forum like Q&A with pdf notes, etc without using WordPress… what is the best way to start with coding I mean I can’t find anything about that if you can just tell me what type of backend and language do I need…? and where can I find an answer related this questions.April 4, 2022 at 6:17 am #2177387DavidStaffCustomer Support
its not really a question we can answer. My only suggestion would be to search for: “How to build a CMS” – you will find articles like this one:
The CMS ( Content Management System ) will be the bones to any type of content driven website.
But to be honest, if you have to ask the question, then i am going to sat its a LOT of work you’re will be facing in creating your own FOrum system….April 4, 2022 at 8:51 am #2177725iamarghya
So what should I do? Choose any of cms and then build it on top of that? I am happy to learn languages if I have to cause am just a college student but when I mentioned the forum I am referring to something like quora but in a local area, After that, I will scale it.April 4, 2022 at 9:14 am #2177743DavidStaffCustomer SupportApril 4, 2022 at 9:26 am #2177754iamarghya
