Search not working

Hi,
I've installed Elementor as well as Generatepress. The Seach functionality in the sidebar isn't working, either with the search widget than with the one Elementor has.
If I do any search no results are shown.
Can you give me a hint?

what happens if you remove the Elementor Search widget and just leave the WP search widget?

Nothing changes, I removed the widget from the template, saved it and nothing changes.
Do you need credentials to get in my site?

The blog and search results page content are being generated by Elementor.
Did you use the Theme Builder to set them up?
If so what happens if you remove the Search results template.

I would test it without the elementor templates to see if that is the issue. If it is the problem then you may want to raise a support query with Elementor. Keep us posted.
