Search function returning no results?

I am really happy with the speed and ease of use Generate Press has given us over the Extra theme we were using from Elegant Themes! One quick question is regarding the search function. I have set the search to be inline with the primary menu and it looks and feels like it is working, but whenever I search for anything, it is returning no returns. Does it only search posts? I have moved over all of the old posts that were set in the navigation menu to pages, so is there anyway I can include the search to incorporate the pages? Or is it something stupid I've done??! Entirely plausible!

Hi Lewis,

The search function should search both posts and pages.

I'm not seeing any search bars on your site? Did you remove it?

Hi Tom,

Thanks for getting back in touch. Yes, I tried turning it off, locating it as a widget in the topbar and had the same results. I've re-enabled it, so if you get chance to try it now, you'll see the same issue I'm having. Thanks in advance!

That's very strange - can you try deactivating your other plugins to see if one of them is conflicting?

I've gone through all of the plugins deactivating each one at a time and discovered the conflict is with WP Download plugin by JoomUnited. I've contacted them for support but am still awaiting an initial response (been nearly 12 hours now!) I won't mark this as resolved until I get to the bottom of it, but it looks likely that they need to check the site over for me.

Ok, issue was with WP Download plugin, latest version with the latest versions of Wordpress and Generate Press too. JoomUnited support have fixed the code to make it work again. Hope this helps anyone else having the same issue! Issue is now resolved.

Hello Team,

I installed Music Press Pro and post that no search results appear in my site. If I disable the plugin, search works normally. I am using GeneratePress along with Advanced Classifieds and Directory Pro on the latest WordPress. Website Link: http://bill.zaha.in/
