Search feature to show product categories

Hi,

I have just realized the search feature doesn't show product categories, only pages, posts and products. I know the search feature is not from GP, but from WP itself. However, could you please point me out to where can I read more about this or a way to fix this?

Is the search.php file in themes/generatepress the one I'd have to modify? Is this better achieved with a plugin?
