Search box is not working well

The language for the front end you can set in the Settings > General.
The Admin interface will still use the language you set in your User Profile.

Does the mobile search not work for any term ?

Sometime it works, sometime it doesn't.
It works on some mobile devices, not the others

Are you running any server caches or optimizations ?
