I have Installed GP on https://domain.com/. I conducted an Audit Using SEO Tool. I found We have Same Title Tag
for each Navigation URL.
e.g https://domain.com/page/2/
https://domain.com/page/3/
https://domain.com/page/4/
https://domain.com/page/5/
all these have same Title and Indexed in Google Search which is Duplicate Title Tag.
Any Fix for above Problem?
Hi there,
I'm not quite sure what you mean.
Checked your site and the menu items look normal to me.
The main navigation is using category menu items which is why it's showing categories before the name of the category.
Let me know if I'm missing something :)
I mean to say that all paginated URLs e.g domain.com/page/2 are showing same meta title as home page of domain.com.
Practically mean if I have 100 Paginated URLs then all have same meta title and meta description as of home page which is causing duplicate title issue.
I'm using yoast seo plugin and they also have no solution for such issue in their plugin.
Can you tell me where to edit in code to change meta title of paginated URLs.
This might help: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-do-i-fix-duplicate-meta-tags/
Hi, Tom
I read this article many times, but in current version this option does not work. If possible, please write a code for function.php
There's not really anything we can write a function for here - it's all handled by Yoast SEO. If you're not able to get the Page ID into the title, you may need to contact their support team for clarification. It's possible that they need to update the documentation.
Hi, Tom
Issue Resolved, I was skipping a little part from above article.
Glad you got it sorted :)
