Hello,

When I installed GP I did see in the default set-up that I did have a "special offer" block / container on my right sightbar. I deleted this because I wanted to first personalize everything and then later on add the same container again. But now I can't find how to add such a block / container anymore. I thought I could find this in widgets but I can't find it. Does anyone had this same issue or someone know how to add this again?

Thanks!

Hi William,

By default, there is no “special offer” block/container added when installing GP.

Do you have screenshots of this Block? This may also be from a third party plugin.

Just a disclaimer, third party plugins are out of our scope of support.

Moreover, you should be able to create one with lightweight and free to use plugin GenerateBlocks: https://generateblocks.com/

For instance, one of our users created this wonderful website showcasing different designs created through GenerateBlocks: https://skool.house/studio-all/generateblocks/creator-blocks-generateblocks

Hope this clarifies. :)

Hi Fernando,

Thank you for the quick reply. I meant "product highlight", sorry was my mistake. It is in the "marketer" lay-out. It can be found here https://generatepress.com/site-library/ .

This is also the default lay-out.

Thanks!

Greetings,

William

Hi William,

Marketer is using the legacy widgets which might not be found after WP's update.

As WP is now using blocks for widgets, you can rebuild it easily with blocks.

You can add a Group block, then add heading block, a paragraph block and a buttons block inside the Group block:

Hi Ying,

Ah now I understand. Thank you for the explanation and the tip how to do it now :-)

Greetings,

William

You are welcome :)
