Reusable blocks in v5.8 Widget editor

Is there a way to save a block for reuse that would show up on the new 5.8 Widget block editor? Unfortunately things that work for pages and posts don't seem to work on the new widget page. I'd like to have a GB container with an image block and text that an end user could easily insert in a sidebar with all the parameters set.
Not anything must have, just trying to move people over to the new tools.

i assume there was a good reason for WP to exclude reusable blocks in widget areas, probably because they didn't see a need for it as generally widgets are set up and rarely updated.
I did find this plugin, that allowed for reusable blocks to be added as widgets - although this was before Block Widgets were in WP:

Or if your a GenerateBlocks Pro user you could save your content as a Local Template. And that should work in the Block Widgets.
