Hey, I didn't see anything in the forums related to the issue I am having so here we go.
I was trying to change the container width on just mobile devices but it seems that this feature doesn't work for me.
I selected the tablet and phone setting and changed the width, but it also changes it in the desktop. Am I doing something wrong or does this feature not work in this way. I can change it with CSS, but would rather use what GP already has installed.

We actually don't have mobile/tablet specific option for container width.

I assume you are referring to the toggles at the bottom right corner? If so that's the preview feature coming from WordPress.
If an option has device-specific options, it the toggle should show beside the option itself like this one:
