Replace word in permalink

Hello
Is it possible to replace the word page in a blog page permalink? i.e., change the URL mysite.com/blog/page/2 (and so on) by mysite.com/blog/mytag/2 (and so on)

I thought that was related to the theme itself or to WP, not to a plugin.

Themes themselves don't have any control over permalinks.
