replace 40px top/bottom default padding for section container?

Is there a way to replace the default 40px padding for .generate-sections-inside-container that still allows manual padding on a per use basis?
Right now, using something like the following works as a default but prevents manual padding values from pushing through:
#main .generate-sections-inside-container { padding-top: 80px; padding-bottom: 80px;}

There isn't unfortunately.
Might be a good idea to add to our upcoming block plugin though.

Many thanks! I (and clients capable of managing those settings directly) sink a lot of time into having to change those per section for what would otherwise be a universal application and for clients, they have a very difficult time with consistency when multiple content managers are in the system.
