remove page headers without using css

Hi,
I've added a new header image to the template and I would like to remove the image from the page header. I know it's possible to do with this CSS but I don't want the image to load twice. IT doesn't look like disable elements works for this content. Please advise. Thank you.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to remove.
