Remove navigation bar on child page

I want a landing page on my website and have given up on the plugins that are out there.
So how do I remove the navigation bar from the child page-which is where the landing page is?
Easiest possible way would greatly reduce my stress!
I'm a copywriter not a code person-need to keep it simple. :-)

Hi there,
you can activate the Disable Elements module in Appearance > GeneratePress and the use the meta box it provides on that page to disable the navigation. Heres a article to help:
