Remove #more-xxx from Read More

Hi,
I have just finished installing GeneratePress on my wordpress blog.
I am using the "Arctic" theme that comes with GeneratePress' site library.
I set up the home page to show "Excerpts" (that I usually cut manually by adding <!-- more --> where I want the excerpt to finish.
The thing I don't like is that the "Read more" text links to something like "mysite/blog-post#more-127".
I don't like this behaviour and would like to just link to "mysite/blog-post".
How can I do that?
Many thanks in advance for the help!
Luca
