Remove default header

I'm trying to remove the default header in GP so that I can create my own using elementor. Can someone help show me the procedure for doing this?

I followed the link and did what it said and now the site has crashed!!! Need help...
Wait no it looks like that was an anomaly. It's working again. That got rid of the header thank you!!
