Remove Category/archive titles in custom post type

I am using Directories Pro. It uses a number of custom post types. I want to hide the title on the custom post type they call Category. I can change what it displays in the plugin admin, but I cannot remove it or hide it. I have tried numerous CSS and code snippets to no avail. Any ideas?
Hi Jason,
I assume the titles are H1, if you hide or remove them, there might be some SEO issue down the road.
