Redirect wp-login.php

Is it possible to somehow redirect users from /wp-login.php to /my-login-page/ ? I do this over and over, but again some things just redirect there in some cases. Is it possible to totally replace it with my custom login page? So if I set to redirect to login page and back, it actually goes to /my-login-page/, not /wp-login.php ? I have tried the code from this page, but it didn't work. Also, tried several other things, but they mostly not working, I still end up on wp-login.php somehow.
Hi there,
you may want to try this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/change-wp-admin-login/
It does a similar thing to adding the code examples shared in those links. But it probably does a better job going by the number of downloads:
Tried, but it drops bunch of errors, I had to delete it from cPanel.
Hi Kathryn,
Not sure what errors you are getting but have you checked with the plugin's support?
I'm sorry but we can't offer further help on this topic since it's not theme related.
It's better to post the question in WP's forum:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Thanks for your understanding :)
Don't have time to check with their support, honestly. Wordpress is quite strange creature, giving up on this for now.
For this, there's no real viable solution, wp-login.php will always come back somehow. And there's no really a point in making custom login pages at all - just surrender, style default one as much as you can, try to somehow redirect users from dashboard at least, hope it will work.
Anyhow, marking this as resolved
Sounds good.
It really doesn't, but hey for 19th century not bad at all. I invested time and resources to create those pages only to discover that I am stuck with ugly default crap nonetheless.
The worst thing of all is that I am getting less and less supprot anywhere. I cashed out like $300-$400 for plugins/theme, still everyone is in 0Fs given mode no matter what I ask. I can't wait to finish this project I'm done with anything wordpress related for all times. Whatever I tried, half things don't work and it is so with pro tools. One would think basic things would be at least available with stuff you are paying for, but no. This to finish and I don't want to see wordpress until the end of my life.
