"Read More" Button on Peak Theme

I can’t seem to add the “Read More” button that is on the template Peak Theme on new blog posts. Can someone help please?

I think that’s because the post content is shorter than the excerpt word count.

Can you try adding more content?

Many thanks for the prompt reply on a Sun night!!! I figured it out. It’s AUTOMATIC, if there’s more text. This is a great theme and simple theme for blogging. I’ll be sure to be asking more help if I can’t find it on the support pages.
