[Support request] Questions regarding shortcodes and customization.

Hello,
I just bought this theme and planning to use it on my site. I am trying to create a site, which will look something like this: https://www.bitcatcha.com/hosting-reviews/siteground/ (example blog page. )

I was thinking this theme will have all the necessary shortcodes but there are none. Can you tell me, if i can use this theme to create a site like the above one? Or should i depend on external plugins, such as shortcodeultimate for such functionalities?

Hi there,

we don’t include shortcodes in the theme as this would lead to theme lock-in – if you ever felt the need to change theme then that content would be a mess.

So if you need shortcoded content then a plugin would be correct.

Looking at that site, most of it is fairly straightforward and could be done with the Gutenberg Block editor.
