Product variation not collapsing effecting mobile versions

So the issue did end up being the length of the attribute? What happens if you shorten it?

Yes the length of the attribute term, when that term was added by the plug in. Most likely because as you said, it was table based. If you add the term manually using the plain text there was no issue, example: red|blue|really long color|

It sounds like such a small issue, but it was throwing the whole mobile version because at those tiny screen levels it looked very "wrong"

Keeping the text length short seems to be the trick. Not a perfect solution but it works. My big issue now is using these attributes. In the past we used a plugin that let us create various options for each product and when changes were applied to them, all the products would reflect those changes. Now if we alter an attribute by for example adding a color, it seems we have to go into each product one at a time and add that change which is going to take till valentines day to complete.

Hmm, there might be a plugin out there that can help you with that if you do some digging (hopefully!).
