[Support request] Product thumbnails not cropped square

Hi,

I’m having trouble getting the products page for my Woocommerce shop looking right.

I think the thumbnails shown on the shop page should be square; if I go to Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Product Images, Thumbnail width is set to 300 and Thumbnail cropping is set to 1:1.

What actually happens is that all product images appear to be showing in their original aspect ratio. As a result the product grid looks pretty awful.

I have tried re-generating product thumbnails (WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Regenerate shop thumbnails) which doesn’t help.

Can you help?

Hi there,

what are the original image sizes you’re using?
It looks like some of them are smaller than the 300px width or height. Which is why this is occurring. Let me know
