Hello. We have a problem with the Nouveu template. We are using the navigation as header. The background should be transparent. This was the case until recently. But now suddenly the background is opaque black. If you scroll down the page and the navigation is shown again, the background is transparent black as it should be.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
Is there a Header Element active on that page?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/
I’m not seeing anything that would make the navigation transparent.
Let me know 🙂

Hello.
No there is no header element active on this page. The problem is that the navigation should be like this, and should behave exactly like the Nouveu template. When loading the page transparent, and only when scrolling down, the navigation should be transparent black. That was the same, but suddenly the navigation is 100% black when loading the page. If you scroll down, it fits again. I hope you understand what I mean. With best regards Günter

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperNouveau is using the Header Element to create the transparent navigation. There’s more info on this here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/#site-header
That should do what you’re looking for.
Let me know 🙂

There are no elements in the Elements module. We are at a loss here. It worked from the beginning, and suddenly it didn’t work anymore, that’s very strange. Do we have to create a new header element now? Or how may I understand that? Sorry I’m so annoying, but I’ve never had anything like this before!
Best regards

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThat’s strange – maybe the Element was trashed by mistake? Is there anything in the trash that you can see?
If not, you’ll need to create a new Header Element and set the merged header/navigation colors. It should only take a few minutes.
Let me know if you need help 🙂
