problems with grid responsivness

I'm using The Grid plugin to display posts in a grid with filters, but the responsive layout is broken. I contacted support and they said it was a problem with my theme, specifically the "generate-columns-container". But they didn't tell me how to fix it. Can you help?
Hi there,
That element is added when columns are enabled in Customize > Layout > Blog.
If you disable columns, it should go away.
