Problem with WP-Show-Posts

Hello,
I've been using GeneratePress, GenerateBlocks and Wp-Show-Posts in my websites (notably 4 of them, and specifically https://gohydrology.org) for the past 2 years. Over the past year I also successfully added Enivira Gallery (a plugin) to both showcase photos, and also use as image-based links on the sidebar and main part of the my blog. Everything was working great, but I wanted more functionality with a slider plugin, so I purchased Soliloquy. Partly I purchased Soliloquy because its from the same makers as Envira, which works really well, and it was also touted as being the best, fastest and easiest slider plugin.
My problem is that whenever I create a slider with Soliloquy, even a simple one, it causes my images in (1) WP-Show-Post and (2) Envira to vanish ... and also causes the site to slow down immensely (to the point the page never fully loads). The slider does work when I post it on a stand-alone page where WP-Show-Post and Envira are not present (https://gohydrology.org/slider-test/), but even then it seems glitchy and limited. Soliloquy had such a solid rating in all the review, thus I thought it would be plug and play. But as stands I can't seem to use it even for the most basic function. All my plugins are updated and my cache clear.
Just curious: I'm contacting you because you've been so helpful in the past. Can you think of any reason why this is happening?

P.S. I also contacted the Soliloque team but thought to check in with GP, too.
Side Note: I've been playing around with it for about an hour. On any existing page (https://gohydrology.org, https://gohydrology.org/cheatsheets, etc), the Soliloquy slider doesn't work. On the https://gohydrology.org/slider-test the same Soliloquy short code both (1) works on the desktop version, (2) works on the mobile version, and (3) even worked when I included the WP-Show-Post and Envira Gallery on the same page. I am truly confused. It seems haunted.
BTW: I installed a simple free slider called MetaSlider that seems to work fine everywhere, although not so well with mobile.

Have you tried any debugging tips like only keeping the slider plugin and WPSP activated?
Is every working normally as soon as the slider plugin is deactivated?
If so that's the case then we should wait for the plugin support to comment first.

Yes, I've done extensive debugging. But still can't figure it out. What's strange is that WP-Show-Posts, Envira and Siloloquy all work great on this separate page I created: https://gohydrology.org/slider-test/ . I just can't get it to work on the home page, the blog page, the cheatsheet page or any of the other main pages. Why it works on the /slider-test page but not on any of the others really confuses me.
I'll keep trying, and hopefully I'll get more guidance from Siloloquy.

Just an update: I deactivated Siloloquy. It seemed to be conflicting with a range of WordPress functions. For example, when I created a new post last night, I couldn't upload a "featured image" (it just stayed blank) and although I could post an "inline" image in the blog post, it didn't show up when I published it. I did have a minor success of getting a pretty nice slider created on the https://gohydrology.org/slider-test site, and almost succeeded in getting the same slider on the "home page," but it was incredibly non-responsive and took the page (i.e. the images) several seconds to fully load. Everything went back to normal when I deactivated Siloloquy. Still waiting to hear back from them. Thanks again for your help, Bob
