I have used Beaverbuilder with the Generatepress theme on several other websites, but here it is not showing me any live updates. Even when I make a brand new page, as the example page I’m linking, and I add a row and a text block – when I click save on everything it is invissilbe until I refresh the browser window before I see my addition.
If I then copy this text block, the blocks become greyed out until I save and refresh the browser window, and then click to edit with Beaverbuilder again. I have turned off caching plugins for this staging site.
I turned off the hosting cacher and there are no cache plugins.
I have also contacted BeaverBuilder, and I wonder if there is anything you can tell me?

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
This sounds like a caching issue to me. Maybe plugin conflicts as well?
There is definitely nothing from GP that would prevent this from working.
Might be good to hear what their support say first – they are quite good ๐

ok, thanks, just trying to rule out any known issues you might know about with BeaverBuilder and WP 5.2.
Would you know offhand, this isn’t specifically about GeneratePress, the problem is with a staging copy of a website. The website has caching on, but the staging website has those plugins turned off. In any case, using BeaverBuilder on the live website, with caching on, did not cause these problems.
So I’m wondering if you know of any issues with GeneratePress and/or Beaverbuilder on staged WordPress sites?
Thanks again for a great product.

StaffCustomer SupportI’m not too sure if there is are any differences between a staging site and a live site. I thought staging site is supposed to be a clone of the live site for testing.
Maybe your host would have some ideas?
To me it still sounds like some sort of caching…

FYI, whatever the issue is with BeaverBuilder, it is NOT an issue with the theme. The same issue happens with other themes, just thought I’d let you know.
Seems possible an issue with BeaverBuilder in astaging environment still looking to the main file install for the live preview files that get cached on the fly.
Anyways, not GeneratePress.
Thanks for your help
