Primary Navigation in GP and Elementor

Hi Guys,
I am very to new WordPress and website development so please bear with my questions. I have zero background.
I am trying to replicate the Primary Navigation settings of the Nouveau theme that comes with GP Premium. I also have Elementor Pro. I could very easily just use the theme but I want to know how it's done.
On the Nouveau theme, I noticed the Primary Navigation seems to be inside the Elementor section. I wanted the same effect where the primary navigation comes in a transparent background that it shows the background image of the section and when you scroll down it sticks and shows a different background.
Here is a screen recording of what I mean.

The first part is of the Nouveau theme and the ugly part is what I've come up with.
My navigation menu is outside the section. I tried to do it using Elementor but they don't have the same static+sticky feature that you have and it just doesn't look the same.
I have tried to copy the settings for both GP Premium and Elementor Pro but could not seem to achieve the same effect. I can't provide my website link as I am developing the website locally.
Your advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi Guys,
Just an update, I tried to play around with the settings of the theme and changed the navigation location to Above Header, the primary nav lost its transparent background. When I change it back to the original setting which is Below Header, it doesn't return to its original state.
Here's another recording.

Thanks!
Hi there,
the Noveau header is created using GP Elements > Header, this article here shows Tom demonstrating that. And how to create a merged header.

Let me know.
