Hi Folks,

In "Appearance / Customize / Colors / Primary Navigation" there are settings specific to "Current" attributes. There is also a "Current" Navigation Color Preset which seems to load by default.

Does "Current" refer to the current page open in the Customizer?

Thanks.

Hi Philip,

The "current" attributes for the color settings are referring to the current page you are viewing, doesn't matter if you are in the customizer or not.

You can try this by viewing any of the pages in our site here.

The "current" in the navigation color preset just means that it's using the settings you've selected for each color and not using any of the presets.

Let me know if this makes sense.

Maybe.

So "Current" in this context means the colors applied to the primary navigation link when on a specific page. For example, if I'm on the "About" page, the "About" navigation link will have some unique styling to indicate my location.

Am I getting warm?

Hi Philip,

Yes that's correct.

If the "Current" has background color set to #FFFFFF, when you're on "About" page, the "About" link background on the navigation will turn #FFFFFF. :D

WordPress menu assigns a class on the menu item of the page you're currently on, that setting selects the assigned class. :D

Understood. Thank you much.

No problem. Glad to be of any help. :D
