Hi guys:
A question for novice
What Is primary category for on yoast and why have it ? What or how does it help your blog site? What is it’s usefulness? ? Purpose? I can’t find answers as to what or why one would want or use it or how it helps readers of your posts????

Hi there,

Yoast Primary Category is used when you have multiple categories assigned to a post.
It defines the most important category for SEO and uses that one in the breadcrumb trail.

Overall it just makes things tidier when you have a lot of categories assigned to a single post.
