Post title missing in archive

Hello,
when I click on the months archive, then the blog posts of this month are displayed. However, if there are more than one post in this month, then the title and meta of the first post is not shown. If there is a single post only, then the title is shown.
What is the problem here?

can you provide a link to the Site? You can edit your original topic and use the Site URL field for privacy.

forget it.
In the meantime I found that for those posts the post format was set to status message. I did never care of that flag and in my current (soon old) web site they show up without any problems. They did not so after moving the content to my new (still developing) site using GeneratePress. And -accidentally- each of those posts was on top of the list because it is the last post in the month.
So nothing to do with GeneratePress...
