Hi. I started as usual with the free template of GP theme and am actually quite happy it. After purchasing the GP theme and some playing around I started to write a blog post with sections. I entered a section and published the post. First I can’t see post title though I put it into the default wp field. The site title though is visible.
I’ve not used the site library.
September 25, 2019 at 7:29 am #1018587DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Sections are like a very basic page builder in that they remove the standard theme elements including the Post title ( sidebars etc. ).
Couple of choices:
1. Include the<h1>title</h1>
in your first section.
2. Use a Header Element to display your post title with a featured image background:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/
3. Or we can provide some code to hook the title back in.let me know.

With respect to
1) At the end this means I need to enter the title twice for each post?
2) I am not a friend aof featured images in the background.
3) Hm.I have another idea.
– Export all my settings
– checking the way of working with an example of the site library.
– Import the old settings, if it suites me more πSeptember 25, 2019 at 10:39 am #1018880LeoStaffCustomer Support2) Background images are required to use header element. You can simply add the title template tag and display it.
Let me know if this helps π

September 25, 2019 at 11:41 am #1018927LeoStaffCustomer SupportBasically do this:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-hero-examples/#example-1But with the the template tag
{{post_title}}
as content:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-template-tags/#post_titleNo background images needed.
Let me know if this helps π

September 25, 2019 at 11:16 pm #1019275Ernst WilhelmIn Germany we have an expression “Jein” meaning yes and no , something between.
Yes the page title is visible but it doesnot obey the global layout defintions.
Look here. How can I achieve this?
September 26, 2019 at 6:25 am #1019550DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
in the Header Element you can set its options to contained.
You can add a background color to match the site and add some padding to match that of your Customizer > Layout > ContainerSeptember 27, 2019 at 2:32 am #1020225Ernst WilhelmHi David. Good Morning.
To compare what I achieved so far.
This is an already published postThis is a similar post, which should show the same featured imag
To me it seems, I need to do many small things, css stuff in order to achieve a similar layout?
September 27, 2019 at 2:38 am #1020231Ernst Wilhelmnot required.
September 27, 2019 at 7:31 am #1020400DavidStaffCustomer SupportDid you resolve the issue?
September 27, 2019 at 8:15 am #1020529Ernst WilhelmYes and no. My interest is moving towards the Elementor plugin. It suits me better.
