Post Page Gone

I don't know how it happened but the post page on my site turned into just a page that doesn't link to the blog, so if you click on it in the menu it just goes to a page with the title of the blog but no posts below it. How do I restore the link to the blog page? I don't know the URL or how to find it.
This might have happened when I updated the theme a couple of days ago.

you can assign your posts page in Dashboard > Settings > Reading
