Hello, yesterday I created a new blog post and published it. I see it is published and most recent when I access my homepage via desktop. But, when I access via mobile device it is not showing up...? Only when I search for a KW do I find the post.

Any ideas what could cause this?

Sure thank you

Hi Adam,

I've checked the site on 2 phones (Android - Chrome) and I see this post - https://share.getcloudapp.com/QwuAZ6wl - when I visit the homepage.

Perhaps you've sorted this out? Let us know.

Hi Elvin, oddly enough- no its still not working for me? The most recent post its showing is from July 16th 2021. Im using an iPhone on safari. so is my girlfriend and she is getting the same thing...

Im not sure if maybe something changed in the recent Generate Press update (I think that was a few days ago)? But, upon further digging, it looks like some of my more recent posts are not showing up under articles on my phone either.

On desktop everything looks fine- but mobile its like the posts are missing or hidden somewhere? Everything has been set to show in 'most recent' order.

Can you try clearing the browser cache on your phone? and/or visit the page in Safari's inprivate/incognito mode?

Hi Elvin, ive cleared the browser cache, and opened the website in incognito mode on safari and chrome- and it's the same- I cannot see my latest post anywhere :(

Hi Adam,

I just checked on my iPhone as well, and I can see the post:
https://www.screencast.com/t/UlEza8CIz

But oddly, I don't see the post on the desktop.

Can you try clearing your cache and disable your cache plugin to test?

And make sure to clear your server cache as well if exists.

Let me know :)

Ok, here is what I have done:

I deactivated WP Super Cache
I deactivated Autoptimize
I clicked "purge all" under cache in the top of WP dashboard.
I contacted my host, and they cleared the cache.
I cleared the cache and website browsing data from my phone and restarted the device (3x).

It's still not showing correctly on my mobile device. The most recent post is not on my homepage, and the 3 most recent posts are missing from the "articles" menu (which should be a duplicate of the homepage- just all posts in a most recent feed).

Somehow I always manage to stumble into these problems... I dont know what Ive done any different or changed? UGHH!

That is so strange.

I can confirm that the post How to Use a Fish Stringer (Easy Explanation W/Tips) is viewable on my phone and desktop as well.

Could this be anything related to post-order? Like did I accidentally click for the posts to change their order (if so where can I check to correct this?)

Or- any other possible ideas?

Ok...I think I just found something. When I disconnect my phone from my home Wi-fi network (and go off data service only) the posts shows correctly!

Does that mean my wifi or router or something is caching my webpages? Im so lost...hah

Does that mean my wifi or router or something is caching my webpages?

I've not heard of this before but if it works using cellular service then I'd assume there is some caching going on with your wifi there!

Worth checking with your wifi provider.

Hi there. Me again. Im back- Im sure everyone is (almost) as sick of this issue as me. I contacted my ISP, we did a factory reset of my router and modem. Cleared all cache on mobile devices and tried again.

SAME PROBLEM. The tech support rep I was on the phone with, lives in North Carolina. He tried on his personal cell phone (and obviously a different wifi network) and he encountered the same issue.

When he connected to Wifi- the outdated post is showing first "Whats the difference between bream and crappie". When he disconnected from Wifi, and went to cellular data, the correct post "How to use a fish stringer" showed up. He even had his neighbor try, and SAME THING.

So they basically said this is not an ISP (WifI) issue- this is some kind of iphone/mobile/theme/host issue.

Im going to contact my host again- just providing updates to those who have helped and am desperate for any other suggestions here...Thank you.
