Hi, Tom.

I am ready to resize my images to match the width of the post content area of GP Premium. How do I find the post content width?

Thanks,

Janine

Hi there,

Your site is currently under coming soon page.

Can you turn it off so we can see it?

Hi, Leo.

I would rather not as this is a new site and not ready for public viewing.

I used the inspect tool and it said 671px. But when I uploaded a test image, it was slightly narrow than the content width and a bit off centered even though the alignment was set to none.

Thanks!

But while I have your attention, I have two other questions:

1. How could I add a coloured horizontal rule above and below the main nav menu?
2. How can I increase the font size of the items in the primary sub nav menu?

Thank you, Leo.

And Merry Christmas to you and yours!

1. I was able to successfully add a border to the main nav menu! Yay!

2a. As for the typography overview, I already checked that resource before I asked my question. I was not able to find the place where I can change the font size for items on a drop-down menu on an item on the main nav menu.

2b. In fact, I was able to change the font-size of the text in the main nav menu, but I can't for the life of me figure out how I did it. Can you remind me of how?

4. In typography, what does it mean when it says the font-family: inherit?

5. I see the padding when I use the inspect tool, but I still don't get it. The themes I've worked with in the past, all had a pre-defined width for the post content area.

Hi, Leo.

I think I figured out the content padding issue.

In the Theme Customizer > Layout > Blog and under the Featured Image section, I unchecked "Display padding around images."

Thanks for the tip.

2a. For dropdown menu item font size, we would need to use CSS:

.main-navigation .main-nav ul ul li a {
    font-size: 14px;
}

2b. It should be in Typography > Primary Navigation

4. It's inheriting from Typography > Body

Thanks, Leo!

AWESOME support even on Christmas Day!

No problem :)
