Post caption image not centering

I'm not sure when this first occurred, but it was first reported to me by my client today. The only updated activity that occurred in the last 24 hours was an update to Jetpack, so I rolled back the update, but it didn't fix the issue.

Images using Wordpress default [caption] shortcode with center alignment are now aligning left. Without captions, images align correctly, regardless of alignment. With captions and aligned right or left, images align correctly. The only issue is captioned images with center alignment.

I tried overwriting the CSS, but nothing has succeeded so far.

Do you have any advice?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Can you disable the caching plugin(s) so I can see the source of the code?

I faked a fix by resizing the image to fill the horizontal space. When you get a chance to take a peek, if you'd like I can reduce the image size again to enable you to see the alignment issue.

I'll push the site into a staging platform. That'll disable all caching, without affecting my client's published site. Give me 2 shakes. I'll post back here once the staging is set up.

The staging site's up. Is there a way to share the URL with you confidentially? Thanks!

You can edit the original topic to edit the provide URL :)

Perfect! Done.

Nailed it! Okay, I can solve that. Thank you!

No problem :)
