Hi - this is how I have it - menspleasures.com/7-psychological-ways-to-make-her-want-you/
Placed image in container - moved to top of post, highlight entire post block, margin -100 - no joy.
Placed container in between hero and post, neg value applied - no joy.
Placed container below headline in hero, tried to push down from above or vice vers - no joy.
How do swtcih between classic editor and gb - I have to enable/disable classic in plugins to edit post.
Tks
Edit - got it - negative top margin works.
Pls kindly advise on how to edit post in GB using classic if u can, tks.
Hi there,
in the Classic Editor plugins settings there is an option to allow users to choose Block or Classic editor when editing a post. Note - its not advisable to edit a single post both ways ie. one time in classic and then another time in Block, as you may end up with broken HTML that will cause problems.
Ahh! Spotted, that's great - thanks.
But you can't control the width of the body in classic correct. It has to be placed in html block in container?
I'm not sure I fully understand your question, in what scenario you need to control body width?
Scenario dependent on the look of the post/page - different to homepage width. Convert to Blockworks seems to work ok. No matter. Cheers
Usually, we don't change body width, it's always full width. The width we adjust is content container width, I think that's what you meant :)
Anyway glad it works for you now.
Let us know if you need further assistance.
I mean the section between the two sidebars in this case where your article goes - thought that was the body or content container :). That is the section I wish to have control over. Homepage is different width and some other post/pages in different niche might be different.
At customizer > layout > container, you can control the global content container width.
For individual pages, you can use a layout element to control the content container width :)

If it's a static page, you can choose it to be full width in page editor as well:

Yes - that i believe is what im doing - using container width.
Had to place post html in html block in container as using https://www.screencast.com/t/AXuw09kw which is available in post edit area as well as page kept it full width with both sidebars activated left and right. Tried default and contained.
Missed the content box beneath post - thanks.
Point was though, that in order to move the image up into hero section the posts html has to be added to a custom html block in a container otherwise when you add an image in a container it cant find a space beneath hero and top of content section and moves text up over the image.
Also - updated to latest gp theme but I do not see https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/#content-1
Clicking content i see just: Choose your content container type - default/fw/contained
Anyway - can be achieved placing in container - custom html - convert block - just checking this is fine to switch post like this.
Also – updated to latest gp theme but I do not see https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/#content-1
Strange. There was no change in the layout element during the update. It should be there, I am using the latest version as well.
If there are no errors showing, it should be ok.
I don not see it still after update. Would be useful as getting some errors now converting post to block.
